Imported Goods Refund & Returns Policy
The Corporate Gifting Warehouse facilitates the specific importation of goods at the Client’s request. Due to the bespoke nature and international logistics involved in sourcing these items, the following policy applies:
- Non-Returnable Nature of Imported Goods
All goods specifically imported for a Client are considered final sales. These items may not be returned, exchanged, or credited for any reason (including “change of mind,” “unwanted products,” or “incorrect size/colour selection”) unless the goods are found to be materially different from the website images and corresponding descriptions or specifications at the time of order.
- Discrepancy Claims
The Corporate Gifting Warehouse will only consider return or replacement requests if the delivered goods do not align with the technical specifications, branding approvals, or visual representations provided on our website.
- Notification: Any discrepancy must be reported in writing by the Client within Five (5) days of receiving the order.
- Late Claims: Any complaint received after the five-day mark will be investigated at our discretion, but a resolution cannot be guaranteed due to the timelines associated with international supplier claims.
- Authorisation and Logistics
- No items may be returned or exchanged unless prior written authorisation has been obtained from The Corporate Gifting Warehouse.
- It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that authorised returns are sent to a designated collection point in their original packaging.
- If a return is requested for a quality check and the items are subsequently deemed to be correct in accordance with the order details and relevant approvals, the items will be returned to the Client at the Client’s expense.
- Resolution of Incorrect or Faulty Goods
If a discrepancy is confirmed (i.e., the product does not match the specifications or images provided), The Corporate Gifting Warehouse shall, at its discretion:
- Replace the incorrect goods at no additional cost to the Client; or
- Take the goods back and provide a full refund or credit of the purchase price.
- Transit and Missing Items
Should items go missing enroute or be damaged in transit, and the replacement value is less than R1000.00 (one thousand Rand) ex. VAT, The Corporate Gifting Warehouse reserves the right to refund or credit the Client rather than re-importing a small quantity of replacement stock.
- Specific Exclusions
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances (excluding factory faults discovered upon delivery):
- Branded goods and memory sticks (regardless of fault).
- Reduced to Clear or On Sale items.
- Gift sets once the order has been processed.
- Third-Party Branding
The Corporate Gifting Warehouse cannot be held liable for branding performed by a third party. If unbranded imported products are taken to a third-party brander, all warranties and money-back guarantees are rendered null and void.
- Refunds
Approved refunds shall be processed within 30 (thirty) days. The Corporate Gifting Warehouse is unable to provide a cash refund for amounts less than R1000.00 (one thousand Rand) ex. VAT; such amounts will be credited to the Client’s account for future use.
